Callout extensions allow advertisers to draw attention to particular aspects of your products and services that may help you stand out from the crowd.
Located under your URL and your chosen catchphrase, callouts allow you to highlight your unique selling points (USPs). You can feature up to four callouts with a minimum of two in order for them to be displayed.
Callouts are similar to sitelinks ad extension which show links to specific pages on your website beneath the text of your ads but have no links.
For example you could highlight 24/7 customer service or free shipping to stand out from the crowd. The 25-character limit per callout will certainly concentrate your thinking about what exactly are your key differentiators!
Using callouts you can integrate your key messaging or current advertising campaigns. After all they are easy to change and schedule via the Ad extensions tab.
And the reporting feature is sure to generate an interesting feedback loop on what interests your stakeholders versus what you think should interest them.
